Marlie  schildert zowel met acryl- als met olieverf en maakt het liefst figuratieve voorstellingen, waarbij ze veel durf laat zien in penseelvoering. Ze schuwt het niet om genoeg verf op te brengen en te mengen op het doek door gelaagdheid. Haar schilderijen zijn van hoge kwaliteit en ze heeft er duidelijk veel voldoening in.

Marlie paint with acrylics and oilpaint and prefers to make figurative performances, where she shows a lot of daring in brushwork. She is nog afraid to use enough paint and mixing it on the canvas by layering. Her paintings are of high quality and she had clearly a lot of fun in making them.
